Valve Automation

MBV, Inc., in partenership with several automation equipment manufactuers,
provides pneumatic actuators, electric actuators and automation
accessories. We supply both commercial and engineered automation products.
We have the capability to provide custom automation products also.

Valve automation is very important in increaseing productivity in virtually
all industrial applications. There are different types of actuators for valve
automation. Pneumatic and electric actuators are two most popular types.

Standard temperature range of a penumatic actuator is from -4 to 175 degree F.
Electric actuators operate well in a temperature range of -40 to 150 degree F.
Heater and thermosat should be used for electric actuators operated outdoors
since motor on/off will cause temperature fluctuations.

For hazardous environments, NEMA 7 electric actuators are available. However,
pneumatic actautors are inherently "explosion-proof".
