Linear Control Valve

Liner control valves or globe control valves are the most popular control valves
for many years. They are available with a wide range of flow characteristics as
we as a wide variety of special designs for corrosive, abrasive, cryogenic, high
temperature and high pressure applications.

Unlike rotary control valves, linear control valves are relatively easy in dealing
with cavitation and noise issue.

Linear control valves mostly use spring-and-diaphragm actuator. They have
relatively small amount of hysteresis and dead band, much better than
rotary control valves.
